(E)Hospital welcomes submissions on relevant hospital management topics. Articles can be theoretical or practical but should be written from a management perspective.

All submissions must adhere to our author guidelines and we reserve the right to accept and refuse contributions.

Article submission

Articles of max. 12,000 characters with spaces (unless otherwise agreed) should be submitted as a Word Microsoft Word Document file by e-mail to lee@myhospital.eu

Authors are responsible for all statements made in their work, including changes made by the editor, authorised by the submitting author. Please provide a contact e-mail address for correspondence. Following review, a revised version, which includes editor’s comments, is returned to the author for authorisation.

The text

Title page:

The title page should contain the possibly short title of the article, a subtitle, the full name of the author(s), the institutional affiliation and contact details (including e-mail address to be published).

Headings:

The text should contain several headings, lists in bullet points or “key areas”.

Tables/Extras:

Authors are encouraged to include checklists, graphs, tables and/or guidelines, which summarise findings or recommendations.

Conclusions:

Conclusions should be succinct and logically ordered. Knowledge gaps should be identified and future initiatives suggested.

Key phrases:

Please also supply 5-8 key phrases summarising the major themes of the article to be placed in between the article or below it.

Illustrations:

Colour photographs/pictures, tables and graphs are encouraged. Please place references and explanatory matter in footnotes. Any relevant images should be sent as high resolution images only with 300dpi and must be clearly marked.

Executive Summary:

Please supply a 160 word summary of your article. This will be translated into German and French and published in the executive summary section.

Acceptance

It is always at the discretion of our editorial board to accept/refuse submissions. We will give an answer within 4 weeks of receipt. We reserve the right to publish all texts on the internet.
