EAHM

Founded in 1970, the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM) is the umbrella association for 27 leading hospital management associations in 26 European countries representing over 16,000 individual members. The EAHM does not pursue any political, economical nor denominational goals and serves purposes of benefit to the public.

As the world's largest hospital management association it represents over 90% of all hospital beds across the entire European continent (including CEE -countries) serving a population of 450 million. Besides being responsible for budgets that account for 4% of Europe's GDP, the EAHM is the most influential body for hospital managers and chief executives in both the public and private sector.

Targeting at the construction of a social Europe the EAHM elaborates proposals that are aimed at bringing together the global European hospital field in collaboration with European health care authorities and representatives of the healthcare industry.


From increasing the professional authority and responsibility of hospital managers to competent representation in the European institutions and international committees the EAHM takes care of every individual member.

Levels of Membership in the European Association of Hospital Managers



Membership in EAHM consists of two levels:

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

Full members are comprised of national hospital management associations who have an interest in reaching outside their local borders towards common European goals. 26 different ways of hospital management, the EAHM represents them all.
